Pentagon was awarded a large ventilation project, in excess of 800k, to install ambient and mechanical ventilation including free cooling to the world’s largest chocolate manufacturer.
The difficult portion of this project was removal of the old system with active production lines beneath. The entire production area was scaffolded and wrapped to prevent any debris, no matter how small, making it to the production line. Staff below continued work with no interruption.
The new equipment holds the entire process area at +20c all year round and utilises reverse cycle heating and free cooling to achieve this.
