Pentagon was commissioned to design and build a CO2 vaporisation system to reduce the energy usage of heating CO2 before its used to carbonate drinks.
This was a one of a kind system which has outperformed the initial design and utilised glycol from the chillers. This then passes through heat pumps to heat liquid CO2 from -40c to +25c, a series of closed loop systems transfers the heat to the co vaporisers.
The entire process is variable and the off set point can be set by the client. Energy savings are huge when compared with industry standard CO2 vaporisation.
